The Needle & Thread
Intertwine and flow
Making the strong weak
And the weak grow
The man that crafts
The project at hand

This was a bible verse my mom showed me when I was going through struggles such as failing out of college, being arrested, etc. It saved my life, and it’s my pleasure to share my reflections with you!

The track, “Empathy” is off of Ab-Soul’s new album Control System. It is complimented with an Alori Joh & JaVonte cameo. Alori Joh was a close companion of Soul’s and recently passed.
Ab-Soul is an artist out of Carson, California. He’s currently signed with TopDawg Entertainment, and a member of the group Black Hippy (Ab-Soul, Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, and Jay Rock.) All of these guys are on the rise and aiding the revival of not only, “West Coast Rap,” but also for Hip-Hop in it’s entirety.

I’m twenty years old trying to figure out this thing called life…
I’m a poet, short story writer, and I’m currently working on my first novel (Untitled.)
Hopefully I’ll make it long enough to learn some music and drop an album too!
